Our Visalia restaurant sits right in the heart of the South Mooney corridor, across from Visalia Mall and a stone's throw from Sequoia Mall. If you live in Visalia, you know Mooney — and if you know Mooney, you probably already know us. If you don't yet, allow us to introduce ourselves.
We opened in Visalia because the Central Valley knows Mexican food. Nothing gets past a Tulare County palate. So we cook the way our grandmothers did: onions blistered on an open flame, tomatillos roasted for the salsa verde, beans that simmer for hours, meat that never sees a shortcut. Every plate that leaves our kitchen has to earn its ticket.
